Solution Browser : Search text selected or empty.

Postby michalk » October 14th, 2007, 9:06 am

It would be nice if the text in the search edit box in Solution Browser was selected (as in File browser dialog) or empty (as in code browser dialog) upon launch. So I could just type the next search query instead of deleting the previous one first.

Cheers,

Hi Michal,

Sorry for a late reply. You are correct, the search selection is not set correctly on Solution Browser. I believe this problem is fixed already for the next beta. You can either grab that when it's available or wait for the next GA version. Thanks.

Hi Sergey.
The problem is not fixed in the DPack v2.8.0 (beta 3) for Visual Studio 2005 available for download from http://www.usysware.com/dpack/.

Michal,

You are correct. Beta 3 is identical to Beta 2 and 1 with the exception of beta expiration date. Next "real" beta is the one that addresses the issue.

New Beta 7 is up that fixes that particular problem. Thought I'd let you know. Thanks.
